Nancy’s ministry with AGWM has evolved very specifically around the HIV epidemic.  After 15 years in Africa, 5 years of ministry with the Global AIDS Partnership, a brief ministry position in Russia, and a US-based assignment with CompassionLink, she will be transferring to the Europe region in 2024. 

According to UNICEF, HIV infection is spreading more rapidly in

Eastern Europe and Central Asia than anywhere else in the world.

The most at-risk people (injecting drug users and sex workers)

are already marginalized in society and far removed

from programs that offer help.

After a year of itineration (2023), she will be based in Vienna, Austria. She will connect with alcohol and drug rehab networks in central and southeastern Europe who work with HIV patients, conduct live interviews, assess the challenges each country is facing, and define a plan to guide ministry for the foreseeable future.
